Lee toured as prima ballerina, and played the part of Jean MacLaren, the young
bride in Brigadoon, at both the South Shore and Hyannis Music Circuses.
At age 17, Lee was the lead dancer in Paint Your Wagon, which was directed by George Schaefer, with whom she worked again in The Tempest.
