Lee Remick star of suspense play chosen as benefit.

The Feb. 14th performance of Wait Until Dark, a new suspense play scheduled to open at the Barrymore Theater on Wednesday and an after-theater supper party, will benefit the Girls Club of New York. Lee Remick, starring in the production, is a member of the club and daughter of its president, Mrs. Frank W. Packard. She and others in the cast will be guests of honor at the supper to be held at Goldie’s New York, E. 53rd St.

Principally through foundation grants and private donations the clubhouse at 312 E. 30th St. was remodeled and enlarged last summer so that the program for 1966 permits an enrollment over the former limit of 500 girls between ages six and sixteen and also provides better facilities for recreation and instruction in home-making and cultural pursuits.
